World Cup Races in Beaver Creek
- Date: Dec 5th-8th
- Where: Birds of Prey Race Course, Beaver Creek. As the only men’s World Cup stop in the United States, the Birds of Prey has evolved into one of the world’s premier ski events. Event Details
Lighting of Breckenridge Date: Dec 7
- Holiday Dog Parade: 3:45 pm; The Holiday Dog Parade will march down Main Street from Main St. Station to the Blue River Plaza. Register at Main Street Station 3-3:30 pm.
- Reindeer Run: 4:20 pm. All kids 12 and under are welcome to participate in this year’s Reindeer Run! All kids participating in the race must register and will receive free reindeer antlers. Register at Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub, 110 Lincoln Ave., from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
- Race of the Santas: 4:30 pm. There’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than joining hundreds of Santas in a race through Breckenridge. If you are the type of Santa that is more fit than Jolly, head to the front of the race. This race is for anyone who’s ready to get in the holiday spirit! Register and go to Napper Tandy’s.
- Where: Main St., Breckenridge, by the Blue River Plaza. The Race of the Santas is a fun run on Main Street in Breckenridge. See the Race Lighting of Breckenridge at 5 pm; Location: Blue River Plaza. Santa makes an early visit to Breckenridge to light the town tree and turns up the holiday spirit. See Santa flip the switch
Ullr Fest Date: Wednesday, December 11, to Friday, December 13, 2019
- Dec 11—Crowning of Ullr King and Queen and Breck's Got Talent. Riverwalk Center. Doors open at 6 pm; the first 200 people get a free beer!
- Dec 12—Community Shot: Join Breckenridge Distillery in their quest to win back the title of World Record Community Shot! 4 pm. Register at the Riverwalk starting at 1 pm.
- Dec 12—Ullr Parade: The centerpiece of the week, the Ullr Fest Parade, showcases Breckenridge’s wild winter fun while taking over Main Street. 4:30 pm. Free to all.
- Dec 12—Ullr Bonfire: Join us for the town bonfire and celebrate the ultimate homage to Ullr! 5-7 pm South Gondola Parking Lot.
- Dec 13—Ullr Ice Plunge: Come prove your endurance and dedication; plunge into the frozen depths of the Maggie Pond. Main Street Station Plaza, 2-4 pm. Plunging is free.
- Dec 13-Comedy Night at the Riverwalk. $25; doors open at 7 pm.
New Year's Eve
- Torchlight Parade: Down Peak 9, 6 pm
- Plaza, Fireworks at the base of Peak 9, 9 pm, can be seen from almost anywhere in town.
